ABOUT THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

"As a black female and small business owner operating in the field of healthcare, I want to support professionals passionate about making their mark in this amazing yet challenging sector, just like I am striving to do.

There is a wealth of research citing the lack of ethnic minority representation in senior leadership positions because Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) professionals still face a number of challenges and barriers in and outside of the workplace.

While there is a tremendous amount of work to do, I believe that no matter how small our individual actions may be; we can use our voices, platforms, networks, and resources to support, empower and promote others to pursue the careers they are passionate about and increase the number of BAME healthcare professionals in leadership positions.

I believe that to be the best leaders we can be, we need to invest in our personal and professional development, which is why this mentorship will provide support through leadership coaching for those passionate about pursuing a leadership career in healthcare.
