Using the broadest of descriptions, a project manager is someone who is responsible for planning, execution and managing the people, resources and scope of a project and these wonderful and special people 😊 can be utilised and valued in any industry.

Built on a solid foundation that includes:

  • Leadership and management

  • Communication (written, verbal, presentation, influencing and negotiation)

  • Planning (time and organisational management)

  • Problem-solving and creative thinking

The intentional project manager (PM) will know and hone their strengths. They may specialise in a sector, work stream, product, service, process or may have technical knowledge.

Knowing their strengths will enable the intentional PM to only take on projects that align with their skills and strengths that will support them to deliver tremendous value through their wealth of knowledge, experience and passion for their chosen area.
