Entrepreneurship Weekly Insights - Insight 10: Culture Trumps Strategy

Updated: Nov 7, 2018

You may have the best process, vision and strategy, but in order to grow a successful organisation, or in our case, a GP federation or CEPN, at its core needs to have a positive, collaborative and supportive culture.

Without it, it will be extremely difficult to achieve sustainable growth and success, attract and retain the best employees and build loyalty and trust amongst our stakeholders.

Culture needs to be nurtured and it only takes a few bad apples to cast a shadow creating a breeding ground of negativity.

The developing CEPNs and GP Federations at this moment in time have a wonderful opportunity to learn from the mistakes of others, creating new communities that transform the way education and training are delivered in Primary Care and should not overlook the power that a positive culture can bring.
