 Job title:       Project Support Officer 

Reports to:   The Managing Director

 

Hours:           37.5 hours per week 

 

Base:            WFH with the ability to travel to Whitstable in Kent and work on client site when required 

 

Salary:          £25k

Tara Humphrey Consulting is a fast-growing consultancy specialising in primary care network services that we deliver across the UK.

This is a busy and varied role and we are looking for someone who wants to learn new skills with support from the Managing Director every step of the way.

Main responsibilities

 

To provide efficient and professional project and administration support. The Project Support Officer will support the managing director and the team with project duties and general tasks as required, to ensure the effective delivery of different projects.

 

  • Attending meetings with clients and partners

  • Minute taking and following up actions as appropriate

  • Developing project documentation and preparation of progress updates for clients

  • Tracking project milestones, objectives, risks and action plans

  • Providing update reports

  • Preparing client reports and case studies

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

  • Developing project communications and information resources

  • Acting as the main point of contact for project enquiries  

  • Creating email communications

  • Using social media

  • Any other tasks as agreed

 

To be successful in this role, you will need to be professional, organised, flexible and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This role has the opportunity to extend your project support skills across marketing, social media usage and training programmes. We are also looking for someone with a desire to work in a small yet successful and growing organisation.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent to include Maths and English

  • An understanding of Primary Care 

  • ​Experience of working in a team

  • Experience of project management

  • Strong IT Skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel packages 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to produce structured work, presentations, written reports and deliverables

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Analytical approach to working

  • Ability to prioritise workload

  • Excellent IT Skills

Holidays

During each holiday year, you will be entitled to 28 days of paid annual leave, in addition to Bank and Public Holidays. 5 days holiday is to be taken during the closure in December.
