Tara Humphrey
CEO
& Founder of
THC Primary Care Ltd
Tara Founded THC in 2015 and has 20 years of experience in business development and operations management covering the public and private sector and has an MBA in Leadership and Management in Health Care. Tara is passionate about helping people and giving them the tools, time and support to develop their ideas and bring them to fruition.
Tara is a mum to 3 children and her middle daughter lives with a long-term Kidney condition and her youngest daughter with Type 1 Diabetes. As a family, they have experienced fragmented care and integrated care at its worse and at its best. This inspires Tara to want to support others to reshape our health structures, systems and processes allowing families like hers to have excellent experiences when they need access to health care services.
Tara has also supported over 120 Primary Care Networks providing them with training and interim management support.
Tara continues to invest in personal and professional development that has resulted in:

A peer-reviewed paper published by The London Journal of Primary care which provides a qualitative study on General practitioners’ perceptions on their role in light of the NHS five year forward view

Writing over 250 blogs that provide her insights on primary care networks, leadership and change management.

Valentina Suma
Executive Assistant
Valentina, with over 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles, is Tara’s dedicated Executive Assistant.
With a true passion for supporting people and maintaining things organised, she is the first port of call at THC Primary Care.
From supporting client delivery, business and diary management, securing podcast interviews, managing multiple email accounts, travels, finances, and ensuring everything is on track for Tara and the THC Clients, no two days are the same in this dynamic role.
Outside work, Valentina has a zest for life and loves to keep herself busy and organised. She is a frequent flyer to her second home in Sicily and deeply loves cooking (…and eating, of course!) and her young son, Tristan.

Jade Cannon
Primary Care Network Development Manager
With over 8 years of NHS experience and 2 years within Primary Care, Jade supports Tara with Interim PCN management to our clients.
Jade has a passion for supporting clients to achieve the desired outcome of the project being delivered. Jade has a methodical approach and takes pride in building strong working relationships and maintaining clear communication.
Outside of work, Jade loves being creative by creating handmade cards and enjoys exploring new places.

Leah Daniels
Project Coordinator
Leah is a valuable asset to our team, assisting our Primary Care Network Development Managers with the day to day administration tasks of the networks.
Leah has 6 years of clinical and administrative experience within the NHS, and provides care coordination to one of our PCNs, she is a self confessed geek and loves clinical data.
Leah shares "We work hard as a team and always give our all; there's nothing better than when our PCN Managers send us emails saying, "this is great 😁!"
Outside of work, Leah has three children who keep her busy, and she loves nothing more than spending time with her horse 🐎.
Her motto is, keep smiling and striving for perfection.

Sophie Hurkett
Marketing & Podcast Manager
With over 20 years of experience working in customer-focused industries, Sophie is delighted to be part of the THC team as the Marketing & Podcast Manager.
“Every episode I listen to, I come away learning something new and inspiring”.
Weekly activities include, editing podcasts, creating content for our social media channels, website management, liaising with guests for our podcast and blog sponsors, Sophie is always happy to lend a hand to support the team.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys researching and planning her next holiday adventures, a little gardening and being surrounded by her family and friends.

Gary Hughes
Associate
Gary is an experienced leader, director and manager with a broad skill set and a passion for developing the leadership and management skills of individuals and organisations.
He has 15 years experiences with primary care encompassing Business Manager, GP Federation Director and is a PCN Board Manager.
Gary works across the country supporting practices and PCNs with organisational development, leadership and education. He has an MBA and a PGCMDE and creates and delivers engaging educational workshops and programmes.

Nikita Padda
Primary Care Network Development Manager
An experienced successful project manager and change agent with over 12 years of dedicated service within the NHS including Community Care, Secondary Care, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG), and now, as a Primary Care Network Development Manager. This experience covers working with 4 networks from one network comprised of 10 practices covering 70,000 patients through a network where the practice and PCN were the same entity. Nikita's journey within the healthcare sector has not only enhanced her expertise but also deepened her commitment to improving the quality of care for patients and Primary Care Networks.
Nikita has also been a GP receptionist, led the delivery of clinical services at Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare and worked with the Northwest London Diabetic Health Intelligence Team. Nikita has set up COVID-19 vaccination clinics and developed the Paramedic service for Hounslow.
Nikita has bravely and confidently navigated her career and has worked on projects across local health and care systems whilst using skills such as how to influence, build relationships and manage upwards to successfully deliver.
Nikita strongly enjoy facilitation – bringing people together, fostering collaboration, and driving positive change in the healthcare landscape. Through this role, she aims to bridge the gaps within primary care, ultimately enhancing access to quality healthcare services.
Outside of work, Nikita enjoys adventure and exploration. Travelling to new destinations, spending time with friends, eating at new restaurants and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through Pilates and gym sessions. These are some of the ways Nikita helps rejuvenate and balance her life.
Nikita is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in healthcare, both professionally and personally, and is looking forward to the opportunities that lie ahead on her journey with THC.

Lauren joins our team with 10 years NHS experience with 2 years being in Primary Care. Relocating in 2020 from West Yorkshire, Lauren carried on her career in Healthcare as she has a passion for helping others.
Outside of work, Lauren spends her time with her partner and 2 cats as well as travelling back up to Yorkshire to spend time with her friends and family.
